Jha honored by ODK

Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) the national leadership senior honor society's Nebraska Circle has named Dipra Jha, assistant professor of practice in Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management, as Professor of the Month. The Circle class, led by Chapter President Brendan Gallo, held an event on Sept. 22 to recognize Jha for being an outstanding educator.
 
Hannah DeMaro, member of ODK and a senior in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management, was part of the group that recognized Jha in their formal attire.

"Each month ODK recognizes a professor who has demonstrated their commitment to his students, their education and development of their leadership skills," said DeMaro. "Professor Dipra Jha has shown that he is passionate about international tourism and luxury hospitality by leading multiple study abroad programs and frequently traveling to speak at meetings and conventions while often times accepting prestigious awards. He brings all of these experiences back to his students and gives them excellent advice about how to survive and do their best in the industry."
