Barkley Center Autism Spectrum Disorders Project

The area of severe disabilities comprises a diverse group of individuals who have significant disabilities including those with autism spectrum disorders. The educational program at UNL provides knowledge and expertise to work with this heterogeneous group of individuals who may have autism, dual sensory impairments, intellectual impairments, or multiple disablities. There is a shortage of trained personnel in this field of study, both in Nebraska and nationally. Individuals interested in graduate course work in the area of severe disabilities-autism have a variety of options from which to select.
