Departmental scholarships are available to enrolled students in the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders. (The 2013 application will be available in January, 2013.) Some requirements that apply to the awards are as follows:

- Undergraduate - Must have a declared major in the Department of Special Education or have been formally admitted to the pre-professional program in Communication Disorders.
- Graduate - Must have been admitted to either a graduate degree program, professional degree program or a graduate-level endorsement program. In this context, professional Au.D. students are considered graduate students and may apply for departmental scholarships.
3. The application for scholarships or financial aid must be submitted online. If you do not have Acrobat Reader on your personal computer (most UNL labs already have the software), just click on the button below and follow the easy, three step instructions for installation.
4. Information made available to the Scholarship Committee will be treated in confidence in accordance with University policies and procedures. Application records will be destroyed when the applicant graduates.
5. Departmental scholarships will be awarded annually with a deadline of April 20 for fall scholarships. Applicants will be notified by letter regarding scholarship decisions.
