Diane Farrand, Ed.S., CCC-SLP, is a lecturer in the Barkley Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic. Her professional areas of interest include language and literacy, craniofacial disorders, and aural rehabilitation. Along with Diane's clinic teaching responsibilities, she coordinates the Speech-Language Hearing Clinic including coordination and supervision of off-campus practica. Diane is a part of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Medically Handicapped Children's Craniofacial Team providing service to the clinics in Lincoln and North Platte, NE.
Diane received her Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language- Pathology and her Educational Specialist degree in Education Administration from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Diane came to the Barkley Memorial Center after working as a speech-language pathologist and program supervisor for Education Service Unit #9, Hastings NE.
Diane is a member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Nebraska Speech-Language and Hearing Association (NSLHA) and the American Cleft Palate Association.
When Diane is not at Barkley Memorial Center she is probably at playing with her grandsons, enjoying family, and/or having coffee with friends.
