There just aren't enough itinerant teachers of students who are deaf or hard of hearing, especially in rural and urban cluster areas. You are needed! You can become even more highly qualified with the specialized knowledge and skills needed to meet the challenges of serving today's children and youth with hearing loss, their families, and their teachers, wherever they are. Our program will show you how.
MPUP-I will provide financial support in the form of tuition-waivers and travel expenses to students who qualify and are accepted into the MPUP-I program. Students must be willing to pursue a masters degree and state certification in Deaf Education, plus three elective courses in additional disability areas. A limited number of applicants will be accepted.
