Part I: The Foundations
  Unit One: Basic Concepts
There are three lesson in this unit. Together they form the conceptual tools that you will need to gain an appreciation of cultural diversity and pluralism. These lessons are on the topics of culture, aesthetic education and behavior formation.
  Unit Two: Aesthetic Questions
This unit works with your intuitive powers. It attempts to sharpen empathy concepts and your ability "to see" into another's conditions, loves and fears. The unit relies on the visual. It also starts you looking for web related bibliographic resources.
Part II: Cultural Conflict in the United States
  Unit Three: Multiculturalism
This unit introduces the concpet of dominant culture and those cultures that are dominated.
  Unit Four: Cultural Frames of Reference
How do we look at another person? What are the "filters" through which we see? that allows us or limits our understanding? our perspectives?

Part III: Cultures: Ethnic Profiles
  Unit Five: USA Profiles
  Unit Six: Global Profiles (This unit is not included in the course at this time.)
Part IV: Law: Legislative, Judicial and Enforcement Considerations
  Unit Seven: Civil Rights Laws
This unit deals with legal aspects of pluralism.
  Unit Eight: Enforcement Agencies and Advocate Groups
The unit is divided into lessons on federal governemental agencies such as HUD and EEOC, state agencies such as NEOC and advocate groups ranging from NAACP to the KKK.
Part III: Issues: Environments of Discrimination
  Unit Nine: Community Issues
Included in this section are units of study on hate crime, affirmative action, bilingual education and a historic case of language and religion.
  Unit Ten: Teaching about Diversity
Unique school issues include segregation and re-segreation, school busing, magnet schools, bi-lingual education, racism, sexism, ethnocentrism etc.

  Unit Twelve: Culural Tolerance and Social Empowerment
