wardrobe stylist and the creative principal/designer, VALENTINE VALENTINE
Amanda Valentine is a wardrobe stylist and the creative principal/designer for VALENTINE VALENTINE, a ready-to-wear line established in 2010. Her work is rooted in her Midwestern upbringing, and against that core she works with clean shapes and color blocking, layering elements of darkness and humor.  Her work also tips its hat to the richness of costume history. After earning her degree, she launched her professional career in Los Angeles, on the set of her brother’s first music video: Maroon 5’s “Harder to Breathe.” In 2012, Valentine was chosen to compete on the 11th season of "Project Runway." As a result, in early February 2013, she showed a twelve-piece collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City. The scope of her styling work has since grown to include television, advertising, red carpet, and a growing list of artist and musician clients.
