Dr. Emily Griese is an Assistant Scientist at the Center for Community and Population Health Sciences at Sanford Research. Dr. Griese's research focuses on child and adolescent development as well as advanced longitudinal data analysis. The goal of her work is to encourage positive youth development and subsequently minimize health disparities for at-risk youth, working primarily with American Indian and rural children and adolescents. To date, her research has focused on the developmental trajectories of youth from childhood to early adolescence, examining their engagement in prosocial behaviors as a protective factor for peer victimization.
