Dianne is a teacher who has worked her entire professional life in a field largely dominated by men. She was the only woman in many of her graduate classes and has served as the only woman on the Science staff in several educational institutions. It takes courage to work in non-traditional fields and to excel in those fields. She is an outstanding teacher of Chemistry and many students have benefited from her choice to teacher rather than work a a chemist.
