Beukelman retirement reception May 5

The annual Huskers for Hearing 5K Fun Run will be held on East Campus Apr. 26 at 9:00 a.m. Registration opens Apr. 11 at http://marketplace.unl.edu/sofs/student-academy-of-audiology. Cost is $30 for ages 10 and up; free for 9 and younger. Admission includes a t-shirt.

The event is organized by the UNL chapter of the Student Academy of Audiology and benefits HearU Nebraska and the UNL chapter of the Student Academy of Audiology.

HearU Nebraska is a non-profit organization with the mission to minimize the negative effects hearing loss may have on a child’s language acquisition, cognition, and overall educational success by fitting appropriate devices immediately following diagnosis of a hearing loss.
