Involvements while on Campus (Clubs, Activities, Study Abroad, etc):
Cornhusker Marching Band, CEHS Ambassadors

What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
Watch TV or spend time with my friends depending on whether I want to be alone or not

Best thing about being a CEHS Ambassador:
The people.  They make the whole program so much fun!

Why did you choose to be a CEHS Ambassador?
Originally I wanted to be an ambassador because of my campus visit my senior year of high school.  I saw the ambassadors who were running it and I thought that it would be a fun group to be involved in at the college level.  The thought of it being a leadership position also appealed to me, knowing that it could help me in the future as an educator.

Why did you choose to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln?
It was a big school just far enough away from home.  My dad also works on campus which makes it nicer if I need anything, and it had the programs I was looking at studying.  The final decision was made after my campus visit.

If you could be any animal, what would it be and why?
I would probably be bird because I would be able to have a point of view that allowed me to see everything I could ever want to see, and I could do my own thing in the air instead of being told what to do and where to go from others on the land.

Advice to Prospective Students:
Meet people everywhere they can.  You never know who you might meet who can help you with a homework assignment down the road, or who can help get you a job.  Or, they might just become your new best friend.  Also I would tell prospective students to make sure they stay caught up once school starts!  There is nothing worse than procrastinating homework and then having to do it all within one or two nights.  If you spread out your homework, it makes college a lot easier to handle.  I would also tell them to make sure they go visit their professors, especially if they are struggling in the class.  The professors are your best resource!!

Whatever you are, be a good one.
