Moon Yu

Moon Yu is a third year Doctoral student in Educational Psychology, Cognition, Learning and Development (CLD). Moon graduated from Hesston College with a AA in Early Childhood Education, she then graduated from Bethel College with a BA in Elementary Education and Psychology, she then perused her MA in Educational Psychology from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. Moon's training in CLD involves cognition and motivation related to human learning theories. Her research agenda focuses on how an individual’s belief about a task/ or a behavior impacts his or her motivational structure, and ultimately leads to an outcome. In her current research she focuses on how children K-2 their beliefs about writing revision impact their motivational structure to their learning outcomes.
