Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance

The Department of Child, Youth and Family Studies now offers three of its programs through the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance (Great Plains IDEA). Follow the links below for specific information on each program.

Program Offerings:

  • Family and Community Services Masters Degree
  • Family Financial Planning Masters Degree or Graduate Certificate
  • Youth Development Masters Degree or Graduate Certificates
  • Family and Consumer Science Teacher Certification

  • Great Plains IDEA currently approved a master's degree that may lead to teacher licensure/ certification for Family and Consumer Sciences. If you are interested in starting this program, please contact Lisa King.
