Family and Consumer Sciences Education
On-Campus Masters Program
Do you have a bachelors degree but want to get a masters degree and certification in FCS? Are you already a certified FCS teacher but want a masters degree?
Students in this program will:
Study education theory and methods
Study content in nutrition, parenting, family financial management, and other content
Gain experience in working with adolescents
Interact with educators in Nebraska through conferences and other groups
Earn a Nebraska secondary teaching certificate in Family and Consumer Sciences
Prepare for a career as a:
Family and Consumer Sciences teacher (grades 7-12)
Extension educator
4-H assistant
Curriculum specialist
Service unit educator
Human resources professional in government, business or industry
