| Project: | I am currently working on two projects. The first is aimed at improving communication between parents and child care providers. The second is focused on increasing healthy foods during holidays and celebrations in child care centers. |
| Skills Acquired: | Writing literature reviews, presenting at conferences, data analysis, academic writing, creating workbooks to disseminate knowledge and mentoring other students. |
| Future Goals: | To become a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and eventually have private practice. |
| How will the project experience help you achieve your future career goals? | I am learning to collaborate with other professionals as well as learning how to be a mentor. Finally, I have had the opportunity to present posters at professional conferences. These skills will greatly help me as a future therapist |
