Bischoff Wins BoHS Emerging Administrator Award

Dr. Richard Bischoff, Gwendolyn A. Newkirk Professor of Leadership in Child, Youth and Family Studies and Department Chair of the Department of Child, Youth and Family Studies, has accepted the Board on Human Sciences Emerging Administrator Award.

The award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated significant potential, as a new administrator in academia or extension, to make outstanding contributions to the family and consumer sciences/human sciences profession.

Dr. Bischoff has been with UNL since 1998. He was the director of the Marriage and Family Therapy program from 1998-2011. He served two years as Interim Department Chair before becoming Department Chair in 2013.
