Undergraduate Program Areas

Child, Youth and Family Studies emphasizes career-ready undergraduate education. Students graduate with the skills necessary to put their talents into practice in a way that enhances the well-being of children, youth, adults and families by improving the environments in which they live and learn.

Students are prepared to work with:

  • children and their families in early childhood settings including schools
  • youth in middle school and high school
  • children and youth in after school programs and other settings
  • families and individuals in social service agencies and community and religious settings
