Retention and Remediation Procedures
The CEHS Advising Center and Program Director will review student progress on a regular basis in meeting both the requirements for attainment of the bachelor’s degree and for meeting the requirements for attainment of the Verification Statement of DPD program completion.
The university offers free tutoring, mentoring and consulting services to help students be successful in reaching their career goals. A list of available tutoring and mentoring services can be found at http://www.unl.edu/current/tutoring/.
Students who are not demonstrating the scholastic ability to benefit from and succeed in the program will be advised of their current standing related to their ability to successfully meet the requirements for attainment of the bachelor’s degree and/or Verification Statement. Counseling and support will be provided to the student to enable her/him to improve or choose a more appropriate career pathway.
