The Department of Educational Administration offers preparation programs for those pursuing careers as leaders and administrators in many different roles in Higher Education. The masters degree programs meet the academic requirements for either a Master of Arts (M. A.) or a Master of Education (M. Ed.) degree with a major in Educational Administration (EDAD). The doctoral program major in Educational Studies, with an area of specialization in Educational Leadership in Higher Education (ELHE), has been operational in the Department of Educational Administration since 1992 and has had considerable success in providing online and face-to-face degree programs for those interested in higher education leadership. For deadlines and applications see the Applications page. The Department of Educational Administration offers high quality online graduate programs leading to both masters and doctorate degrees. The courses in these programs are offered face-to-face, online, or a combination of both. Although it is possible to complete many of our programs entirely online, we strongly encourage our students to come on campus for a portion of their program. |
