Program Delivery:

The program is not described as either online or on-campus. It is a program that is available to students who wish to come to campus for study, for those who wish to learn in an online environment, and for those who may wish to pursue studies in a combination of on-campus and off-campus experiences.

All courses are offered on the regular semester and summer session schedule of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Courses are announced in the UNL schedule available in printed form or on line at http://unlsched.unl.edu/. Students register for online and on-campus courses using the University web based enrollment system and email billing system.

Course Availability:

Online, On-Campus: The program builds on the premise that all of the courses of the University may be useful to the student, so the student and the advisor is not limited to any particular set of courses when building a student's study program. However, in most cases, an array of courses which support the program has developed over time and it is these courses from which students and advisors usually build the masters or doctoral study programs.

Most of the courses from which a student will build his/her program are available as online courses. Courses are also available face-to-face on campus. The program is designed to encourage students to focus on useful and valuable courses and experiences that will improve the intellectual capacity of the student. Students are not restricted to online courses or face-to-face courses and there are no limits placed on the number of hours that may be taken through either delivery type.

All participants are strongly encouraged to have on-campus experiences, yet the program is also offered online, which allows participants to begin and complete the program through online and other forms of electronic communication.

The online courses are available at any time and accessible from any location that has the required computer equipment.
