M.A. / M.Ed. - K12 Administration

The Masters Degree program meets the academic requirements for either a Master of Arts (M. A.) or a Master of Education (M. Ed.) degree with a major in Educational Administration.

Many students enrolled in the Departmental program intend to satisfy the requirements for a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate, at either the standard or professional level, with administrative endorsements that will qualify them for employment as administrators in a K-12 school systems.

For educators in K-12 schools who have a passion for providing building level leadership, completion of the Master of Education (M. Ed.) program enables them to be certificated as a school administrator in the following fields:

  • Elementary Principal
  • Middle Level Principal
  • Secondary Principal
  • Curriculum Supervisor
  • Supervisor of Special Education

The Masters Degree programs are offered face-to-face, online or through a combination of the two delivery modes
