Academic Program Reviews--February, 2006 (Supporting Documents link--pdf files )

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln requires that all academic departments periodically conduct what are called Academic Program Reviews. To facilitate this review, the members of the department conduct a self assessment that is then reviewed and evaluated by a review team consisting of outside reviewers, internal members, and student representatives. The report of the review team is then given to the university’s Academic Program Review Committee (APR).

The department has now prepared its self assessment and will welcome its review team to campus in early February. The review team consists of the following:

Outside Members

Dr. Marilyn Amy, Chair, Michigan State University (Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Learning Department)
Dr. Grayson Noley, Chair, University of Oklahoma, (Department of Educational Administration)
Dr. John Fero, Superintendent, Crete Public Schools

Internal Members

Dr. James King, ALEC, Faculty Representative
Dr. Jeff Keown, Animal Science, APR Monitor

Student Representatives

Rachel Larson, MA Student in Higher Education
Lori Calkins, Doctoral Student in EDAD and SPED Coordinator at Lincoln North Star High School
