Events

Sybouts Student Research Symposium

The Sybouts Student Research Symposium is hosted by the Department of Educational Administration to give current graduate students an opportunity to present their research, connect with peers and learn of other opportunities that support student research. Student speakers share their research processes and experiences leading up to the completion of their respective proposal defense, thesis or dissertation.

Women in Educational Leadership Conference

The WELC conference provides an excellent forum for discussion of issues related to women in educational leadership. It was founded by Dr. Marilyn Grady in 1987 for Nebraska educators and has since grown to encompass a broader national audience of educators and administrators. In2023 upon the retirement of Dr. Grady, the department briefly paused to plan the future of WELC. The Department of Educational Administration remains committed to the important role it has played in bringing scholars, practitioners, researchers, faculty, and students together for professional learning, networking, discovery, and growth.
