Office of Qualitative and Mixed Methods Research

The objectives of the office are to:

-promote the use of qualitative and mixed methods research;

-provide expertise for proposals and funded research projects; and

-offer support for faculty and, to a limited extent, for graduate students in the College of Education and Human Sciences, who are designing and conducting qualitative and mixed methods studies.

 

OQMMR provides the following services:

-research methods expertise for faculty developing proposals for external funding;

-research methods assistance for individuals with funded projects;

-consulting on qualitative data analysis, using the qualitative software;

-assisting with technical writing of scholarly manuscripts for conference presentation and publication;

-limited assistance for graduate students conducting masters theses or doctoral dissertations (we do not work on class assignments).
