Graduate Program for Certified Teachers

This option allows teachers already certified in Family and Consumer Sciences Education to earn their masters degree for professional development or to increase their salary potential.

Students complete 14 hours of core graduate courses, 6 hours of instructional and curriculum courses, and choose 12 elective credits in pedagogy and subject matter courses. Students also develop a thesis or scholarly project and student teach.

Interested students should apply to UNL Graduate Studies. You will need to submit two official transcripts of your Bachelors degree work, three letters of recommendation, your GRE scores, and a personal statement.
