With information for parents, professionals, and students
interested in children and adults who stutter

The UNL Fluency Center is managed by E. Charles Healey, Ph.D., CCC-SLP Dr. Healey is a professor of speech-language pathology in the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders and has been involved in the assessment and treatment of people who stutter for over 30 years. Currently, he is a Board Recognized Specialist in Fluency Disorders by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and has published 2 book chapters and numerous articles on stuttering.
Funding for the Center has been provided by grants from the Malcolm Fraser Foundation.
