A Gold Slipper

"A Gold Slipper" showcases art and amimation based on a short story of the same name by Nebraska author, Willa Cather.

Michael Burton, assistant professor, and his Animating History Lab, which includes undergraduate and graduate students and alumni, created costumes and a film showcased in this exhibition with support from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Cather Project.

The exhibition features illustrations of objects from the Historic Textiles and Costume Collection, a velvet dress based on Cather’s writing and Burton’s recent article in The Willa Cather Review.
