Sheridan is first Husker elected to National Academy of Education

Sue Sheridan, the George Holmes University Professor of educational psychology and the founding director of the Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools, is the first University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty member elected to the National Academy of Education.

Two ceremonies to recognize 230 Husker undergraduate students who have been officially admitted to teacher education programs during the 2023-24 academic year will be held April 5 at Carolyn Pope Edwards Hall.
