NPOD 13th Annual Spring Retreat

The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases (NPOD) hosted his 13th Annual Spring Retreat on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the Sheldon Museum of Art (12th and R St, Lincoln, NE).

The symposium was attended by 75 participants.

Featured speakers were experts on the topics of "Lipid Metabolism":

CEHS researchers among most cited scientists worldwide

from CEHS News:

Twelve researchers from the College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln were listed among the top 2% of the most cited researchers worldwide throughout their careers, according to research on metascience by Stanford University.

Janos Zempleni is second in career-long impact from CEHS.

UNL center receives 11 million for obesity and related disease research

The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity, (NPOD), received an 11 million dollar grant. It's to continue studies to fight obesity and other related diseases by looking at what we eat on a molecular level.
