Tobacco Use in the Zambia

The Prevention Center's Zambia initiative is new. It will begin in the summer of 2003 with initial on-site explorations of available records and archival data and initial discussions with young people about alcohol availability, use, and expectancies.

Objectives

• To gain an understanding of current alcohol use and availability among Zambian adolescents.
• To develop a way to measure alcohol expectancies among Zambian adolescents.
