The Biomedical and Obesity Research Core (BORC) in the Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases will offer a workshop class to its users on October 3, 2017, 1:00pm-3:00pm, Leverton 17. The workshop will be about two hours, consisting of a presentation and a tour of the lab.  The purpose of the workshop is to introduce the major equipment in BORC and how to take advantage of the equipment to facilitate your research. This is an opportunity for attendees to learn theory and gain experience with the various high-tech equipment and assays in the field of molecular and cell biology, metabolism, small animal imaging and phenotyping. The workshop is designed to provide training to graduate students, postdoc fellows, and technicians as well as faculty.  Workshops, dates, and times can also be customized for entire labs. Individual sessions can also be arranged if requested.
