In 2008, the Nebraska Gateway to Nutrigenomics was founded to align nutrition-related research in Nebraska with the changing landscape in biomedical sciences, including nutrition.

NGN has joined together a multidisciplinary team of Nebraska’s strongest biomedical researchers with a shared interest in nutrient signaling who, through collaboration, work toward a common goal to prevent, ameliorate, and treat nutrition-related diseases by altering nutrient signaling pathways.

The NGN Leadership includes the director and selected individuals who serve as the board for NGN.

The NGN Investigators are a group of UNL and UNMC scientists who make up of that multidisciplinary team of researchers with this mutual interest.
