To apply to MPUP-SD, you will complete the same application process as you would for admission to the Special Education graduate program. Follow the directions and links below to complete that process. Note: There is not a separate application to be considered for grant funding.

Start the Application Process

PART ONE
1. Click the button above to begin the UNL Graduate Studies application.
2. Fill in the application.
3a. If you do not have a master's, select "Degree Objective" in the Admissions Classification section. For Major/Degree, select "Special Education (MA)". For Specialization, select "Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing" OR "Visual Impairments".
3b. If you have a master's, select "Non-Degree, Graduate Certificate Objective" in the Admissions Classification section. For Certificate, select "Graduate Certificate in Sensory Disabilities".
4. Submit a $50 non-refundable application processing fee

PART TWO
After completing the Graduate Studies application, you will receive an e-mail notification with your NU ID and a temporary password with instructions on how to setup your permanent password for MyRED. Click here to go to GAMES, where you will complete the Department application. Login using your NU ID and the MyRED password you just created.
