Doctoral Program
90 credit hours
The Human Sciences Ph.D. in Textiles, Clothing, and Design requires a minimum of 90 credit hours of approved graduate credit beyond the bachelor's degree. The doctoral program specialization in Textiles, Clothing, and Design consists of:
- 3 Ph.D. Seminar credit hours.
- A minimum of 25 credit hours related to specialization.
- Outside the major area, a minimum of 16 credit hours are required.
- 11 credit hours are required in research tools to include 8 hours of courses in statistics at the graduate level.
Students must also complete a minimum of 20 semester hours in the formation and execution of original research demonstrated by production of a dissertation.
