Practitioner-Based Inquiry
Welcome

This site is a resource for master and doctoral level students in education working as practitioners in schools and other educational settings planning to conduct a small scale systematic inquiry.

What does practitioner-based inquiry look like?

Practitioner-based inquiry takes many directions existing "on a continuum from more social-science oriented forms, including action research (using both qualitative and quantitative methods) to more humanities-oriented forms of narrative research drawing on personal and professional experience" (Anderson, 2002, p.23).
