Fall Conference 2004

Sixteen teachers in the NPAHE attended the 84th Annual National Council for the Social Studies meeting from November 19-21, 2004 in Baltimore, Maryland. Each teacher attended sessions they selected from the many concurrent offerings, with attention to those related to teaching and learning United States History. NPAHE partners especially appreciated sessions that included classroom activities they are eager to try with their own secondary students. In addition, a number of the teachers are looking forward to developing their own proposals on teaching and learning U.S. History to present at next year's NCSS conference in Kansas City.
