Found on the Nebraska State Historical Society (NSHS) website, this page offers a list of videotaped lectures that have been presented over the recent years. These videos are easily checked out from the State Historical Society for free, and are interesting and informative to view. Some of the lecture topics are “Before the National Laws: Civil Rights in Nebraska”, “America’s Cold Warriors: The History of the Strategic Air Command (SAC)”, “Living the American Dream: The Story of Settlement on the Great Plains”, and “Thieves, Thugs, and Murderers: Crime and Criminals in Lincoln County, Nebraska, 1868-1910”. The page has information on how to contact the society, as well as how to check out the videotapes.
