"Nebraskastudies.org provides students, teachers and those interested in the state access to a rich source of facts and viewpoints about Nebraska and its history..."
Nebraska Studies is a good site for educators to visit, as it has many useful features. One of the website’s many strengths is that it offers a teacher’s resource section complete with suggested activities and lesson plans in areas such as “Who were the Settlers?”, “Native Americans and Settlers”, and “Railroads and Settlements”. This site also offers interactive maps (you will need Flash installed on your computer), pictures, and helpful timelines organized by time periods. Nebraska Studies is very well laid out and easy to navigate through, making it a good site to visit.
