This site features communication boards for the following areas: advanced directives and DNR, alphabet, appointments, bed side signage, daily care, dysphagia icon images, emergency communication, ETRAN (eye transfer systems), facilitation strategies, health symbols, medical procedures, multi-language materials, and yes/no questions.
AAC for ICU
This page contains downloadable basic and complex communication boards for use in intensive care units that were developed in 2020 by University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate student Lauryl McClintick in collaboration with Bryan Health, and under the advising of Dr. Kristy Weissling. These were created with input from professionals in occupational therapy, speech therapy and nursing.
