Matthew Bentz is responsible for server administration, maintenance of clinical HIPAA networks, management of classroom and lab computers, and computer support for faculty and staff.
Matthew came to UNL from a global direct marketing firm where he worked as a graphic designer for six years prior to working at the College of Education and Human Sciences. Clients included Boston Globe, National Arbor Day Foundation, Pfizer, and American Automobile Association.
Matthew studied at the Peter Kiewit Institute during graduate school. While in graduate school, he and a team of other students developed various business models for national and international corporations. He has since completed 12 hours in MIS toward a doctorate. In 2012, that doctorate was disinvested due to budget reductions. He is now exploring a degree in large Data Analytics.
Matthew's mission statement is, "Generate, position and manage integrated technological systems to facilitate academic research and learning for the disciplines of Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology and Special Education."
