4 CEHS students named Chancellor’s Scholars

Four College of Education and Human Sciences students will be recognized as Chancellor’s Scholars during the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s undergraduate commencement ceremony Dec. 18 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Chancellor’s Scholars are students who have maintained 4.0 grade-point averages on all collegiate work at Nebraska and elsewhere.

Following is a list of Chancellor’s Scholars by hometown. The information includes academic major and parents’ names. 

Blair, Nebraska:

  • Devon Zurek, child, youth and family studies (human development and family science), Jeff and Darla Zurek.

Milford, Nebraska:

  • Kara L. Schlueter, nutrition and health sciences (community health and wellness), Dan and Ann Schlueter.

Springfield, Nebraska:

  • Meredith R. Haubensak, nutrition and health sciences (community health and wellness), James and Carrie Haubensak.

Dixon, Illinois:

  • Sesily Elizabeth Gaffey, nutrition, exercise and health science, Kayla Gaffey.
