College of Education and Human Sciences alumna Natalie Hahn worked with the United Nations for 40 years, mainly in Africa. During that time Hahn amassed a substantial collection of African art and craft objects, including textiles and costumes from different regions of the continent. This exhibition features selections from her collection that represent her lifelong passion for Africa and its diverse histories, peoples and cultures. Hahn’s commitment to international understanding and education is reflected in her founding of the Malaika Foundation to support the growth of international awareness and knowledge among Nebraska’s youth.
