CEHS holds annual awards celebration

The College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln recognized the outstanding achievements of faculty, staff and students during its annual awards celebration on April 8.

"It's a wonderful day to come together to recognize the outstanding students, faculty and staff in CEHS, and celebrate the impact our college is making on individuals, families, schools and communities," said Sherri Jones, dean of the college. 

All CEHS faculty and staff were invited to the celebration, held in the Ballroom of the Nebraska Union on City Campus. The event was also livestreamed.

• Edith Reza Martinez, Graduate Student Coordinator/Office Manager, Department of Educational Psychology

Emerging Scholar Research and Creative Activity Award

• Holly Hatton-Bowers, Assistant Professor/Early Childhood Extension Specialist, Department of Child, Youth and Family Studies

Distinguished Research and Creative Activity Career Award

• Katie Edwards, Associate Professor, Department of Educational Psychology

Outstanding Teaching Award

• Surin Kim, Assistant Professor/Entrepreneurship Extension Specialist, Department of Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design
