University of Nebraska–Lincoln Chancellor Ronnie Green will be the featured guest from 1-3 p.m., Oct. 26 for the College of Education and Human Sciences College Meeting in the Prairie Suite of the East Campus Union. All CEHS faculty and staff are encouraged to attend the open conversation and to bring questions, insights and suggestions.

"I’m visiting each of our colleges and major divisions across campus during this fall semester to share some thoughts about our upcoming 150th anniversary celebration and the work of the Nebraska Commission of 150," said Green. "Even more importantly, I’m looking forward to hearing your perspectives on the college, the university and higher education now and in the future."

Green said he would also be interested in CEHS feedback on a recent article from "Inside Higher Education" titled "Falling Confidence in Higher Ed."

On Oct. 25, the chancellor was scheduled to visit several CEHS programs including Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education; Educational Administration; Educational Psychology; the Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools; Nutrition and Health Sciences, the Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases; and the Barkley Center, home to the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders.
