First Fall 2020 Methodology Applications Series presentation available on video

22 Sep 2020

Kejin Lee, research assistant professor at the Nebraska Academy of Methodology, Analytics and Psychometrics, led the first presentation of the Fall 2020 Methodology Applications Series Sept. 11.

Video is now available of her presentation, “Measuring Time-to-Event: Introduction to Survival Analysis.”

Lee’s presentation provides an introduction to survival analysis — various methods used to analyze the timing of events, such as death, divorce, unemployment, drop-out or graduation from school, or the onset of youth substance use — and a demonstration of survival analysis using empirical data in the R statistical software program.

The Methodology Applications Series is sponsored by CYFS’ MAP Academy.

The next presentation will be Oct. 23, featuring James Bovaird, MAP Academy director.
