King, CYAF, receives prestigious Frolik award

11 Apr 2012

Lisa King, staff member in Child, Youth and Family Studies, received the Rose Frolik Award on April 10 at the University of Nebraska Office Professionals Association luncheon.

This award is given once a year in honor of Rose Frolik, founder of UNOPA, to a staff member who demonstrates qualities exemplified by Frolik. Frolik was an enthusiastic, energetic person who faced life's challenges with grace and felt that how you do your work is as important the work tasks themselves.

On the plaque that King received is inscribed: "The image you create is a composite picture of you and your personality, of your office, the spirit it reflects, the work it produces, and the warmth and friendliness that is generated."
