Lee to lead Fall 2020 Methodology Applications Series presentation Sept. 11

27 Aug 2020

The first Fall 2020 Methodology Applications Series presentation will feature Kejin Lee, research assistant professor with the Nebraska Academy of Methodology, Analytics and Psychometrics.

Her presentation, “Measuring Time-to-Event: Introduction to Survival Analysis,” will be Friday, Sept. 11, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom videoconference at https://unl.zoom.us/s/93734934280.

The event is free and open to the public.

The presentation will provide an introduction to survival analysis — various methods used to analyze the timing of events, such as death, divorce, unemployment, drop-out or graduation from school, or the onset of youth substance use — and a demonstration of survival analysis using empirical data in the R statistical software program.

The Methodology Applications Series is sponsored by The Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families & Schools’ Nebraska Academy for Methodology, Analytics and Psychometrics.
