Merriman, ALTC, recieves Staff Star award

Dave Merriman, ALTC, was honored February 17 with the CEHS Staff Star award. Dave is web master for the CEHS web site. Additionally Merriman does web programming, provides creative solutions for web-related educational and administrative projects, and assists students, faculty, and staff with more general technology issues.

Merriman's nominators had this to say about his work:
"Dave's most outstanding attribute is his knowledge and dependability."

"The thing we most appreciate about Dave is his good nature, and willingness to help. I always appreciate his explanation of what's going on with the computer, in terms I can understand, and he never makes me feel incompetent. Dave is a CEHS star..."

"Dave is a can-do kind of guy when it comes to the web-development support he provides to the college. He often says 'tell me what you want and I can build it.'"

The award is given every two months to a staff member who exemplifies the hard-work, care, and concern that fosters the caring teaching and learning environment that exemplifies CEHS.
