Printed Impresssions: Source and Speculation: An exhibit at the Robert Hillestad Textiles Gallery

24 Jan 2013

The Robert Hillestad Textiles Gallery presents a new exhibit, Printed Impressions: Source and Speculation. The exhibit will be open January 28 to March 1.

Printed garments from the historic costume collection inspired students in textile design courses to create repeat designs using digital and hand screen printing.

This exhibition was developed in cooperation with Barbara Trout, curator of the historic costume collection, Michael Burton, who worked with students from an advanced design class, and Wendy Weiss who worked with textile students.

The Friends of the Gallery will host a public reception Feb. 1, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
