Involvement
I am a Senior Counselor for the Nebraska Human Resources Institute (NHRI), I am a member of a sorority on campus, and I volunteer at Catholic Social Services for a Spanish course that I am taking this semester.


Impact
Being a past CEHS Student Ambassador is helping me to connect with a variety of prospective students when I am showing them around campus and talking about different opportunities they may have here at the university. Also, it has broadened my group of friends and I have been able to go outside of my comfort zone to meet people from a variety of backgrounds. This experience also opened the doors involving faculty for future opportunities! I would recommend this program to anyone who is looking for a role in leadership because it helped me to look at the bigger picture of what I want to do with my life and gave me opportunities to get started on that journey!


The best thing about being a HUSKER is
The best thing about being a Husker is having a community of faculty, mentors, and peers who challenge me every day to be the best version of myself and help me to reach the goals I want to accomplish.
